Nancy Drew Collector Cover Poll #4

I’m enjoying the polls and everyone’s comments so much – thanks to all for making it really fun! πŸ™‚ I’ve already posted the covers for #4 The Mystery at Lilac Inn on another post, so you’ve seen them already and have an opinion. Now get ready to vote for your favorite of the two covers on the poll! πŸ˜€ The purple is pretty on the collector cover, but the yellow hardcover just looks so mysterious and intriguing with all of the details making you have to read the book to find out what happens!! 😎

  1. This collector cover is the prettiest of the ones you’ve posted here. πŸ™‚ I’ve seen all the covers, but I don’t recall seeing any better among them. The yellow-trimmed is still the best of the pair! πŸ™‚

    • Totally agree with you on all points there, Mary! πŸ™‚ 😎 Reading any Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys books right now? I mean, not right this very very second! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜› But currently? πŸ™‚

      • Good! πŸ™‚ No, I’m in between books right now. πŸ˜‰ Any suggestions? πŸ™‚

        • Hi Mary! πŸ™‚ Ahh! πŸ™‚ There are so many good ones – have u read HB Typhoon Island? I love that one! It’s got a lot of thrilling excitement in it. 😎 Just got done re-reading Secret of the Old Mill – I love when the brothers are investigating the mill. 😎 I’m about to start ND Clue in the Broken Locket – have u read that one? πŸ™‚

          • Hi Ann! πŸ™‚ My favorite in that part of the series! πŸ˜€ So true, Ann! Been there, read that. πŸ˜‰ That was pretty cool, wasn’t it? πŸ™‚ Yes! πŸ˜€ I’ve read that one and I love it! πŸ™‚ Part of it also takes place in one of the states neighboring West Virginia – Maryland. πŸ™‚ I liked it being in my general area! πŸ™‚ Can I read with u? πŸ™‚

            • That’s awesome Typhoon Island’s one of your faves, too! πŸ™‚ Yep, sure was! πŸ˜€ So cool! 😎 Absolutely, that’d be super, Mary! πŸ™‚ I haven’t started it yet – probably in the next couple of days – I can let u know when if u like! πŸ™‚

              • πŸ˜€ Good! πŸ™‚ Oh, yes, you MUST let me know when! How else will I know when to come over to read with you? πŸ˜‰ About how far is your house from mine? As the crow flies. jk πŸ˜† Seriously, though, you can let me know here or just start reading – it’s a good weekend read! πŸ™‚

                • πŸ˜€ Cool, yep, great weekend read! 😎 And after reading, I’ll try to get a page up with a review so we can discuss. ‘kay? πŸ˜€

                    • Definitely! πŸ˜€ Started it and so mysterious!!!! 😎 I love the cover and that 1st illustration is really intensely exciting – haven’t gotten to that part yet in the story.

  2. The best mystery cover is the yellow hardback; I believe it is so much more fascinating!! πŸ™‚ Callie

    • I’m agreeing with you, Callie! πŸ˜€ Definitely more fascinating! πŸ˜€ Hey, wanted to ask you what your favorite ND Notebook and HB Clues Brothers is that you’ve read so far? πŸ™‚ I haven’t read all of them. πŸ™‚

      • πŸ™‚ Yeah!! πŸ™‚ I believe my favorite Notebook is The Soccer Shoe Clue and my favorite Clues Brothers is probably Pirates Ahoy! πŸ™‚ I like quite a few, though, so it is hard to decide which is best. πŸ™‚ Which ones are your favorites so far, Ann? πŸ™‚ Callie

        • Hi Callie! πŸ™‚ Oh, mine, too so far – The Soccer Shoe Clue! Not only because of the sport, but it’s been the best written of the ones I’ve read. Read that one in the summer. Pirates Ahoy – that’s a good one! πŸ™‚ I know, me, too! πŸ˜€ Well, that’s one of them, and also, The Karate Clue, Jump-Shot Detectives, and Who Took the Book. 😎 I have the ND Notebook that has a similar title to that one, The Crook Who Took the Book, and I’m hoping it will be great, also. πŸ™‚

    • Me, too, Lily, me, too! πŸ˜€ So if you hadn’t read this title at all before, and someone you trusted told you it’s a great mystery, would you read the collector cover? πŸ˜€

      • πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ Yes πŸ™‚ – since you stipulated that the person was trustworthy in this area. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ You, for instance. 😎

        Appreciating the good things,
        Lily

        • Hi Lily! πŸ™‚ I was careful to say that, wasn’t I? πŸ˜› πŸ˜‰ Good – glad to hear you trust me and wouldn’t let the cover stop you from enjoying a great story. πŸ˜€

  3. The holiday season’s here! πŸ˜€ I wanted to stop by here and say to whom all each greeting corresponds: Happy Thanksgiving! πŸ™‚ Happy Chanukah! πŸ™‚ Happy Christmas Eve! πŸ™‚ Merry Christmas! πŸ™‚ Happy New Year! πŸ™‚ Blessings to y’all! πŸ˜€

    • Thank you, Mary! πŸ˜€ Greetings & blessings to you, too! πŸ˜€

      Appreciating the good things,
      Lily

    • Thank you, Mary; I pray that everyone will have many joyful blessings to be thankful for this holiday season (and on through the days beyond as well!! πŸ™‚ )!! πŸ™‚ Love to all. πŸ™‚ Callie

      • Thank you so much for your beautiful, sweet prayers, Callie. Prayers are awesome gifts. 😎 You know you’re always in my prayers as well for wonderful blessings. Love to you as well. You guys are so beautiful, cool, and special. ❀ So very very thankful for each one of you. πŸ™‚

    • Hi Mary! πŸ™‚ You are really sweet and thoughtful! πŸ™‚ I so much appreciate the Chanukah greeting and the blessings all of them – thank you! πŸ™‚ I pray for the very best of everything for you and everyone on here. πŸ™‚ I keep you guys in my prayers for much shalom and joy and Light always. πŸ™‚ Thank you so much for your beautiful greetings. I’m so blessed to have each one of you as friends. ❀
It might snow (flurries, really, no blizzard πŸ˜› ) here this weekend. Do u get much snow there? What's ur fave part of Thanksgiving? πŸ™‚

      • Hi Ann! πŸ™‚ Awww, thanks! πŸ™‚ You’re welcome! πŸ˜€ Thank u! πŸ™‚ The Light, Yeshua, yes? πŸ™‚

I love snow early on! πŸ™‚ How much, it varies. Enough! πŸ˜† Spending the day exclusively only with people that I like (it’s my Thanksgiving tradition since I reached adulthood πŸ˜† )! πŸ™‚ Immediate family, dearest friends (the ones who can get here πŸ™‚ ). πŸ™‚ What’s ur fave part? πŸ™‚

        • You’re welcome, Mary. πŸ™‚ Yes. πŸ™‚

Cool! Hope u get some snow! πŸ™‚ That sounds awesome wonderful! πŸ™‚
We don’t do a whole lot specifically for that day. We’re always thankful, but it’s good that the entire country recognizes a day to give thanks. Certainly not going to skip that day. πŸ™‚ I hope to hang out with family and friends, read, write, listen to music, stuff like that. πŸ™‚ Hope u have a fantastic day and every day, Mary! πŸ™‚

    • I’m going to echo Mary πŸ™‚ by saying ~ ~ Happy Thanksgiving! πŸ™‚ Happy Chanukah! πŸ™‚ Merry Christmas! πŸ™‚ and Happy New Year! πŸ™‚

  4. The yellow hardcover for sure. It gives the reader an idea of what the book is about and a little chill down my spine. Lol. πŸ™‚
    Nancy is a brave girl.

  5. I voted for B, the yellow hardcover, because it’s cool and draws the attention and curiosity so much more. πŸ™‚
